Hard to pick just one: In the town nearest where I grew up there was a road that literally ran right into the cemetary fence and the 'Dead End' sign posted fifty feet before it was pretty amusing. Saw a bum once whose sign rather than the usual pity party about no money, have a family, I'm a vet, need food (when they're fatter than I am) etc. etc. simply said" "Why lie? I need a beer." Only time I gave any money to one, I think honesty should be rewarded. On the inside of a box of Italian manufacture shotgun shells: "Keep out of reach of children and incompetent people." Disqualifies most of the clerks at any of the large sporting goods stores right there. When I was visiting my brother while he was stationed in Korea we would regularly see some rather amusing and poor English translations, the best I remember was the handicapped accessible restroom being labelled as 'Deformed Man Toilet' and same for the women's.
