    The ones with the so-called "quintessential" attraction of that place.

    Examples: If it's LA, the Hollywood sign is the quintessential attraction. If it's Sydney, it's the Opera House. If it's New York City, it's the Statue of Liberty.

    I love the true tourist-y postcards, with the known building or vista and a personal note on the back. Been known to mount them on the top of door frames (like in the bathroom) for interest points...
