Depends on how cheap! Dollar stores routinely carry some nice candles and holders, ornaments, etc., as do drug stores. You can also put together a nice gift basket yourself from such items. Book stores carry favorite books, which aren't too expensive. Magazine subscriptions are cool and fairly cheap. Bath and Body works has some really nice candles, lotions, and other wonderfully smelly stuff (especially for women) if you're willing to shell out at least $20 USD. Beyond that, go with the gift card and trust that your friends and family will love you anyway (:
