MY MOTHER MARRIED A MAN THAT HIS DAUGHTER WAS A NOTARY IN SOUTH CAROLINA. SHE LIVES IN DUNLAP, TENNESSEE IS THIS LEGAL? THE DAUGHTER CAME TO TN TO MARRY THEM. I THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T MARRY SOMEONE IF WERENT A NOTARY IN THAT STATE?

    I am a notary, and you can't notarize someone who is related to you by blood.

    oKAY SO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IF THE NOTARY IS BLOOD RELATED TO ONE OF THE PARITES THEY MARRIED ITS NOT LEAGAL?
