Anyone have a bad reaction to their flu shot this year? What was it?

Yes. I had a really bad reaction. I had never had any reaction to a flu shot before. This year, I began having terrible muscle aches within 24 hours of the injection. The pain lasted a full SEVEN WEEKS and was miserable. It interfered with my life, big time. I had to walk with a cane. I am finally better.

I had it a couple of months back. I did not have any side effects from the shot itself. But I did have the flu last week :S

i received my flu shot, and 2 days later, i was sick as a dog......high fever, so congested i couldnt breath.....and after '3'prescriptions of antibiotics, it was no better, i couldnt sleep because if i laid on my right side, i was gasping for air.....it was like everytime i took a breath, i had an awful coughing spell, sometimes so bad, it would make me vomit.....this is now week 6 and i am finally starting to feel better....ugh!

If someone has a bad reaction to flu shot that means the flu shot is not good..Always get the lot number of the flu shot and whatever company is giving it out..write the number down, you will save lives like that.

I got sick! AND, to add insult to injury, my arm was sore!!!

Nope. Not at all. I also had the pneumonia shot and did not have a reaction to that either.

my kid got the n1h1 nasal vaccine and got sick immediately. sore muscles in neck and back. scared me to death. she's feeling better...but i'm not so sure about that vaccine...

Yes I sure did. Trouble swallowing the next day. Terrible muscle pains,mostly around the chest and neck. My whole left side the skin is sore to the touch. I am in my third week and still going on.
4th week I went back to normal
