    Political correctness of any sort is self-censorship and changes nothing but the terminology we use in speech. While I support being polite and sensitive to cultural differences, simply re-naming an object/occasion or person, does not resolve any conflict. You actually just use a deceptive form of speech that makes your expression acceptable. It is verbal sleight of hand. Re: persons of Islamic descent, I judge individuals, not races or religions. However if those people belong to offensive organizations, the KKK for instance, I will presume they support its beliefs. The presumption for all must be innocent, until proven guilty.
