What is the easiest way of cleaning the ceiling?

Kitchen and bathroom is easiest for me, no rugs. I just mop it (with the grease from kitchen and soap from bathroom those ceilings get especially gunky). in the rooms with rugs I tie those cleaner wipees around the broom an use that, not as effective on old dirt but gets the dust and cobwebs

I use a step ladder and sponge mop. S/o usually holds onto me by the belt...just in case.

Wow, you guys are great. I have never cleaned a ceiling,nor seen it done.

there is no easy way espicaly if its textured or flat paint its easyer to repaint it
