    Well, for me, every text costs $.05, so it means that I'd be charged that in addition to any charges incurred for the thing I'm texting for.

    for verizion its 10cents and at&t i think its 15 if you have like unlimited it wont affect you

    It means that the company doesn't pay for the text. You pay for it, plus any charges the other company charges.

    If you dont have unlimited text then you have to pay like 10 cents a message!! if you have unlimited then no rate applys to you because you pre pay!!!
