How do you download music onto a psp?

you plug your psp to the computer through a USB cable, (the usb cable where one end of it is a large usb male plug, and the other end is small.. the small male usb plug goes into your psp) open up your computer explorer, entire whatever drive the PSP is, and drag your music files ino "?://psp/music/" then end the connection. good luck

Theres another thing. Depending on your firmwire you can only play mp3,mp4,wma and acc formats.

I know you have internet and you should use someone's acess point thats what i do go to www.kohit.net and you download your're music DIRECTLY! And NO USB!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok.. first thing you must do is buy a usb corb for you're psp.. because sadley enulf it does not come with one in the package..you can get them from almost any electronic store. i got mine for under 2 dollars from the source. then hook you're psp up to the computer with the usb cord. Then turn you're psp into usb mode by going to settings then down to USB connection. then go into MY COMPUTER and click on the E drive or what ever the psp is in. Clcik on the E drive then there should be a list of foulders with various names that should be all in upercase letters. click on the one that says psp ( if there is know folder names psp create on by right clicking and hit create knew call it PSP but rember make it in upercase letters.) Once you are in that file there should be another list of files.. If there is not a music folder create one Called MUSIC.. all in upercase.. then you can drag folders in to the folder.. it is that simple.. The newer the psp firmware is the more diffrent kinds of music you can hold.. ( MP3, Wma) I hope that helps
