I have a Dell Latitude 610 that has yellow question marks by several devices in the device manager how can I find out what hardware is installed?

    There's a great little utility called System Information for Windows (SIW) that does a decent job finding all the hardware installed in the computer. I'll link to it below.

    Then the trick is to figure out which of the devices it finds are the ones with the question marks in device manager.

    Once you make that determination, just install the drivers you need to solve the unknown devices issues and you're good to go. You should be able to find all the drivers you need for your laptop on Dell's site. It is even possible that they have a 'wizard' program that automatically detects and installs the drivers you need. More and more manufacturers are doing this now. Dell support is more than capable of helping you with this.
