I've buy another Dell latitude D600 but the problem is it's password prtected. How do I crack this password?

    it goes straight to password from boot it is running xp professional

    There are many ways to break password protection, it just depends on what the protection is.

    Is it a boot password? If so thats fairly easy, on old computers you can pop the side off, take a look inside, and remove a smallish battery for 30 seconds, then replace it. This will reset the BIOS and BIOS password.
    In newer computers there are often pins that you must switch to reset the bios, I would suggest you do some google research.

    You need to specify some more details. Please tell me the operating system and how far you can get before you need a password. Can you access any accounts?

    There are a few ways to bypass a password. Most, however, require some knowledge of Linux and encryption. It can be done, though, without such knowledge.

    I just need more details to help.

    Three or four days ago, I forgot my windows vista admin password. I solved the trouble with the help of Windows Password Seeker. Not just work on XP/Vista/2000/NT, but also compatible with windows 7, I tested it on my laptop installed with Windows 7 and remove the local user and admin accounts password successfully.     Forgot windows password, you can reinstall Windows or reset the old password with windows password reset tool. I do not recommend you to reinstall Windows, which can lead a data loss. You can downloaded Windows Password Reset 9.0 and burned it to a CD/DVD or USB memory card. Then to remove the password. http://www.reset-windows-password.com

    Do not worry, we can use dell password recovery tool to complete this task. Windows Password Rescuer is designed for resetting dell Windows 7/vista/XP password. What you should do is prepare a bootable CD/DVD or USB drive and a computer you have access to. Follow four steps help you reset dell windows password without lose anything:
    Note: You also can use Windows Password Rescuer to reset Windows 2008/2003/2000 local or domain password easily by these steps on dell computer.
    Step 1: Download and install Windows Password Rescuer on another computer you have access to.
    Step 2: Run the software to create a Windows password recovery disk. You just need to burn it to a blank CD/DVD or USB drive.
    Step 3: Insert the Windows password recovery disk to your dell laptop or dell computer, and set the computer boot from the password recovery disk by BIOS setting. If you have trouble in BIOS setting, refer to: How to set computer boot from CD/DVD.

    Step 4: After boot from the password recovery disk, Windows Password Rescuer will start up and display a friendly operating window. Then you can reset whichever account password of your dell computer just by a few clicks.
