How long do i have to live in iowa to get in-state tuition?

    You can register to vote, get an Iowa car registration and license, pay utility bills here etc to try to prove you want to live here permanently. You must generally do this for 12 consecutive months. And you have to be at least a 1/2 time student. If you look at the University of Iowa website FAQ on resident you can see these requirements and other related questions.
