Question

Does finding a black widow in your garage mean that you will have a problem in your house? We are moving into a new house and I found a black widow in the garage and I don't know how long she's been there and if she has had time to have babies.

I doubt there is a problem.

Most folk do not go for the extra toxins to be sprayed in the garage when ti comes to pest control.

Around here we have daddy long legs, jumping spiders and the dreaded black widow. I allow the daddy long legs and the jumpers to remain where they build their web (catching the occasional fly, gnat whatever might fly in) And I assist the black widow to her new home out in the shed or wood shed or carport.
