  • USCSB, University of Southern California at San Bernardino. Most LA Universities are less than 2 hours away from several ski resorts. UCLA, USC, and 7 universities in Claremont, including Harvey Mudd.
  • Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Close to Mt. Baker--one of the best ski area/college combinations I know of!
  • Pacific Lutheran University, WA
  • You could even go to college in or around Syracuse, as there are various ski areas (including Lake Placid) close to that area.
  • Cincinnati, Xavier, Miami OH
  • University of Montana Missoula, Montana. We have 9+ ski arias within a days (5hrs) drive. Snowbowl is where arial gold medleist Eric Burcuist learned to ski is just outside of town you can see it from campus. Also lotsa backcountry.
  • Colorado Mountain College is in one of the best ski areas of all: Breckenridge! If you live there, you can also ski Vail, Copper, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Loveland. http://www.coloradomtn.edu/ come out for a visit before making your decision :) http://www.summitvacations.net/ Or, if you go to any college in Denver (such as Denver University, Regis University, DeVry University, University of Colorado, etc) you're only a little over an hour away from all those ski resorts.
