I downloaded the ZSNES emulator as well as a donkey kong country game...what do i do now? how do i play this game. Can someone give me step by step instructions?

Extract your game if it is zipped, put the file somewhere convenient (like a 'ROMS' folder), open ZSNES, click 'Game' then 'Load', navigate to where your game file is. If nothing shows up, click the 'show all extensions' button at the bottom of the window. Your game will show up, click it, enjoy! You will probably have to configure a control setup that works for you. I highly recommend buying a PS2 style USB controller.

It's been answered, but I'll add that ZSNES comes bundled with documentation. Give the text files a read if you need to figure graphics settings and such. DKC, to my knowledge, doesn't need any fixes, just standard settings will be fine.
