  • You may have excessive crankcase pressure do to worn rings or piston damage..I would test compression and make sure you pcv valve is functioning properly with no kinks in hose..
  • What does something like this cost to fix if its worn rings?
  • Easy check on pcv valve is to pull it out of valve cover with engine running, you should hear an audible click, put it back in and pull hose off the other sideand see if air is being pushed through hose, check port where hose connects for obstructions. may need a hand to do this
  • been searching the internet to find a picture of where the pcv and cant find one? can anyone help me out?
  • well i took it to the dealer ship and found out what it was or I should say what they told me it was. They told me it was the timing belt and pullies were also bad.Service center said the belt because of the pully being bad skipped out of where it was supposed to be? Which was why it was idling funny then stalling. on my way to take it there it just totally quit runnig on me. They said that was due to the belt coming off the pully al together? I am just going by what I was told from the ford service center.$549+tax and plus$85 to look at it!
