During the evening news they seem to play nothing but pharmaceutical advertisements for every ailment known to man. Do you ever ask your doctor about all those pills and potions?

I did once but an honest doctor told me a few years back that most doctors will pretty much ignore any drug they do not endorse and get a kick back on. which is most of the pills they prescribe. So if you make a suggestion don't be surprised if they say yes it is a good drug but what I have for you is far better.

I stay away from pills, I won't even take aspirins for a headache, on top of all that I don't trust doctors, they're in for the money, they BS you and pocket your cash!
They don't see my face often there.

I never ask my doctor about any of them. The disclaimers and possible side effects they always mention scare the pants off me.

Only the sleeping pills when I was on my search for a cure to my insomnia. It's crazy all the stuff they can prescribe to you these days.

If you watch the entire commercial , you will be too afraid to ask after listening to the side effects. ONLY DANGEROUS NON SELLING DRUGS make it to TV. side effects scare me. I would never self diagnose my own health.

Never self diagnose your health. A doctor will write you any prescription that you want ...ANY!.

If you read the leaflet in any medicine you may have they always quote the side affects. Meaning if it gets rid of one ailment look forward to the next. And by the way they have a medicine for that too! And you have guessed that has its side affects too. Mother Nature did not intend us to be chemically imbalanced. Hence the natural biochemicals of the land feed the soil, the soil with its nutrients from moisture feed the plants, the plants feed the animals, the animals
feed us. It is naturally ordained. The moment you disturb the chain you corrupt the earth. We are corruptive by nature and do not thank enough the provisions already nature has given for our survival. We need to create and destroy the planet which has imbalanced our existence. And now we walk around like zombies living off pharmecutricals and fast food. Sorry for long answer. Nice question.

Well since I am a medical skeptic any how I don't even have a doctor to ask. I think modern medicine is more about creating as many patients as possible rather then curing them. They make money off of turning people into hypochondriacs. If I'm not sick I don't see any reason why I need to spend time at the doctors worrying about ailments that I may never get. Beyond plain simple aspirin, I won't take any of their prescribed drugs. I find that herbs work just as well for a lot of things that bother me.
