Not really. you can try but underage drinking is usually viewed very seriously by judges. in a "he said she said" type of contest the Judge will always favor a cop.

No there isn't, you can try and go to court and maybe the prosecutor will let you plead guilty to a lesser charge.
-
As incompetent and uneducated as the cop may seem, he looks a lot better than someone underage with alcohol in a car.

Look into an attorney that is adept in traffic related matters. Most of the time they can plea it down for you and you wind up paying a fee or having to go to traffic school.

No. The crime isn't that you intended to drink it. The crime is having it in your possesion.

Illegal underage possession of alcohol is a big problem in America. Judges are really tough on these lawbreakers, at this time. Any mistakes or crossouts on the ticket does not matter. the fact you broke the law is most pertinent. all the other can be corrected in court. You will lose in court.

I'm guessing that you probably was ticketed for being underage. Although an open container of alcohol is much more serious, if you were 21+ an unopened container would not be a problem unless you have been drinking previously. Most judges do not view minor errors on a ticket as being a serious problem. If the description of the car or the license plate number was incorrect, you may have a reason for dismissal.
