THERE IS A SMALL PIN HOLE UNDER THE DISC DROOR PUSH IN WITH NEEDLE OR PIN much simular to a lock on some indoor home bathroom or bedroom doors,, YOU PUSH THE PIN HOLE UNDER THE DISC DROOR AT THE SAME TIME PUSHING THE MAIN BUTTON TO OPEN AND IT SHOULD OPEN NO PROBLEM THIS HAS HAPPEND A FEW TIMES TO OUR MODIFIED XBOX ALSO ON 360S

I have the same problem and I have also been awaiting an answer over in the "disc tray" category in Xbox Troubleshooting here on Answerbag (same problem was posed over there), and I have yet to find a definitive answer.

However, after tearing apart my own Xbox and attempting to solve it myself, I have come to the conclusion that it must be the power supply that is over-heating. I have attempted to improve the cooling of the Xbox itself by modifying it, but I am not sure if my attempt will be successful.

There are two things that you can do. The first of which is something you most likely already have done, or don't plan on doing (and hence why you're here): send the console back to MS for repairs. If it's under warranty it won't be that bad, and if you're not handy with computer electronics it might be the best solution for you.

The second thing you can do is find either another Xbox that is the same generation as yours (more on that in a sec), or find a replacement power supply that matches your console. The reason why it must be the same version is that the motherboard connector that the PS uses to supply the power to the system is different between versions (most notably between V1.0 and the rest). Do some searching around on the Xbox1 modding communities and I'm sure you'll find enough information to get the job done.
