Swim the channel and then ride a bike to Paris..... ;0) Have a look at LastMinute.com they sometimes have some good deals if you are prepared to book quite late. Other than that you'll have to trawl through the airline sites to see who has the best deal at the moment. LAst time I looked it was cheaper to fly than go by Eurostar but that may have changed.

On foot ... Assuming you can either hold your breath for a very long time, or you are Jesus and can walk on water! Honestly, I know nothing about European travel, but I found a website claiming it had cheap prices - beats me if 34 Euros is cheap or not!
