Help answer this question below.

Would you quit a job because your friend was fired for something he didnt even do?....A manager didnt like him and even stated he was going to try and get him fired.....the same manager hates me for being friends with the guy he hates...

Dnt quit. Find another job first. Wen you do.. then jst wait till your job gets busy n yourmanager needs you, then be like... nah! Do it yourself... thats wat he/she gets

If this job isn't part of your career-path future-plan, then maybe you should quit. Who's to say that the boss won't see you as the next target down the line. Besides, things won't be as fun without your friend around.

- No it is not part of my career...Im in college right now and I know it wont be as much fun withought him...and word is I am his next target.... a diff manager wants to meet with me and him and some other people tomorrow...They are trying to blame me for stuff I didnt do as well...I don't even know what to say other than its not true... :o

- It sounds as if you better get out of there before things go too far. Think of what they might try and say about you to your next employer if called for reference.

My boss told people that he hated me and was going to find an excuse to fire me. I finally walked off the job, and he did fire me.

I would not quit if my friend was fired.

However, if the manager "hated" me, I definitely would
find another job.

I would find myself another job befpore I quit, but I would also make sure that my letter of resignation went to his superiors (copied if need be) and that I put in it exactly what my reasons for leaving were.

I would also be advising your friend to speak to someone like the Citizen's Advice Bureau to see what he can do about unfair dismissal if he can prove that he was fired for something he didn't do.

- Well they are trying to get him in trouble for being drunk at work,which he wasnt and thats only a small fraction of the stuff they want him in trouble for.....some of the other stuff everyone in the store does just he is the only person to ever get in trouble for it....plus he is straigt and the manager trying to get him fired is gay and him and the managers gay roomate always grab his ass at work...cant the company technically get sued for that if he is fired or not?

- He could certainly make a complaint for sexual harrassment - but again it is about getting the complaint taken seriously; they may say it is just a bit of fun and they do it to all the guys.
  
  Would anyone else in the store back him up?
  
  Best thing I can advise is get some proper advice from someone who knows the legal technicalities of this kind of case.
