Hyper, rowdy, but generally amiable. AC/DC came from there. That automatically makes them cool in my book.

They tend to be super colorful and extra crazy, and given their talent in the water cube, great swimmers!

My company and colleagues have had a lot of exposure to Australians. The Aussies are very well thought of; intelligent, capable, and robust, but at the same time humorous and fun to associate with. These were all professional people however, I have no idea what the real Aussies of the Outback are like, but I suspect I'd like them too. It is interesting to note that not all peoples are this way; e.g., I have found Dutchmen (Of the Netherlands) to be generally difficult people to deal with. I understand Russians are worse, but I never had much to do with them. It is clear to me that as one gets more culturally distant from people the harder it is to get along with them.
