Avoid it if you can. -Put some anti-redness relief lotion on your skin instead. -If you have really bad rosacea you can cover the area with green makeup (the color nuetralizes the red undertones of the skin). You can get Physician's Formula makeup, they have good green makeup that covers the redness quickly. -place an ice pack on your skin every morning to relieve the redness and inflammation.

Some people with mild antibiotic allergies suffer these effects when eating onions and garlic. You can use Metrogel and all of the other junk that you can get at your local drug store with a prescription or you can do this. Go to an allergy specialist, they have you do a fast to cleanse your body of toxins and then they systematically re introduce certain trigger elements back into your diet and see which ones do what to your face and skin and hair and body. It is a time consuming pain in the ass but what is better medications oils tinctures and ointments... Or getting to the root of the problem so that it never happens again through knowing what the problem is and taking care of it for good? Up to you. In the meantime, Johnson and Johnson puts out a skin care line that is available over the counter called "Purpose." They have a moisturizer that is for red skin flair ups that works really well.
