You're reading Why is it that without fail, everytime i leave my house, it's as if i've given up any right to be left alone and treated with respect? Why are my difference an excuse for people to "comment" on me, as if i was on display for them?
Comments
Ah, i get it. It's just when i leave my house and submit myself into the social loop, that someone has to step up and "comment" on how i'm different from them. it's not as if i'm out there to make them happy, to dance for them like some kind of trained monkey or a jester. hmmm...

Well if you have chosen some sort of unconventional hair or clothing style, for example, you probably will receive more comments than most people. By it's nature, convention is "what's normal", and some people react when they see someone who looks or acts in unconventional ways. Again, that's just how human beings work, it's not really a big problem. If someone is being particularly aggressive in offering their opinions, you might say something like "I'm sorry I don't fit into the cell next to yours. Maybe if you just do your time quietly you'll be released from prison some day!".
