  • Pull it out and leave it out until the area heals. All the signs you have spoken of is an infection which under certain circumstances can kill you. Once you remove the stud wash the area with warm water and soap the wipe dry and place some sort of antibiotic cream on the punctures. If it does not show signs of healing get to a doctor. DO NOT PLAY AROUND WITH THIS PROBLEM! mr Bill
  • The 'pus' is most likely lymph. If it is white or slightly yellowish in colour then it is fine. That is your body expelling dead cells used in the healing process. If it is indeed infected, then DO NOT TAKE IT OUT! Consult your piercer for the best method to dealing with this. With your jewellery in the infection has a way out. If you take it out, you will trap the infection inside your body. As per the redness, that could be caused my many things, but with this particular piercing...does it rub against the waistline of your pants at all? The best thing to do in this case is to consult your piercer. See what they say. I woul recommend doing sea salt soaks if you're not already (a pinch of sea salt in a small cup of warm water. Hold it over your piercing for aew minutes then rinnse it off). Good Luck!
