If you smash a mirror, you get 7 years bad luck. If you smash another one a year later, do you simply start the 7 years over, or do you get 14 years bad luck?

    Actually, the seven years isn't even restarted. After you smash the first mirror you can smash as many as you like to the next seven years without further fear of repercussion.

    there's no such thing...it's all in your head.
    if you think "i've got 7 years of bad luck"
    then you've definitely got 7 years of bad luck, whether you break the mirror or not.
