How can I effectively remove caramel from my cloth seats?

Try ice, it may work. Just melt the ice on the spot, it will harden and you can scrape it up. Or use a hair dryer to warm it a bit and then scrape it up. At last resort you can recover them, or consult an ulpostery expert.
