i killed a humungous rat once. i said i was sorry. it was just in the wrong space at the wrong time.

it depends on the animal. I'd obviously set out traps if their were mice or rats in my house, but I'm not walking the streets looking for dogs to kick.

only if it was trying to harm me or my family. i've had to defend my dog against strays, and i'd do it again in a heartbeat. otherwise, absolutely not.

Yes. I eat meat. I also set mouse traps and squirt neighborhood cats who scratch up my car. I will ping dogs with pebbles who harrass my dogs through their fence and put out poison for gophers. I spray ants who are in my home and swat flies. I also destroy several wasp nests each summer.

No, I love animals very much. I also like nice people and I would never want to harm them. The only things I would harm are mean people.

I spray spiders in my home if I know they're poisonous. I drink milk (veal calves...) and I'm sure not all the eggs and egg products I eat come from well-treated hens. (Plus, male chicks are culled so again...) And of course outside of what I DO do, I would (hypothetically) harm an animal to defend myself or others, sure.

Bugs of all sorts, mice and other similar rodents... sure. I also used to use a slingshot on the woodpeckers that were going after the house... though I switched to using diluted ammonia in a super soaker which kept them away longer (but didn't actually hurt them.) I also would be willing to kill larger animals for food if I needed to, but would prefer not to. Even killing mice bothers me a little. Specially 'cause I don't eat them. It just keeps them from eating MY things.

Not me... I feel so guilty when I have to smack my dog( Even though he's 145 lbs. and probably doesn't feel it).
