Why do people incorrectly assume prenups are foolproof and will protect the husband? They aren't legally binding and often get thrown out!

My x signed divorce parents and we received final judgement in Feb. He now is claiming lawyer "forced" him to sign. I went pro se. Judge ruled temp order he only has to pay 1/2 of what was in the final judgement bc he provided the courts with bogus #'s?
