LOL! Man… this brings back memories…. There was this one time my father and I had a fight about something and as I rode off on my bike, he yelled after me that if I didn’t come back right then, to not come back at all. I kept going. I rode about two miles away to a small, wooded area and set about trying to construct some shelter. When that failed, I continued on another 2-3 miles to a new, half-unoccupied mini-mall in hopes of finding an accidentally unlocked store. I failed, but upon discovering that one end of the mini-mall was elevated (in retrospect, presumably for flood control), I made camp *underneath* the store. I only stayed there for a few hours before finally getting completely bored out of my skull and calling home. My dad wouldn’t speak to me and told me to call my grandparents, who chewed me out (wouldn’t listen to my side of the story, at all) before hanging up and coming to get me. I forget how we finally made up, but I think my mom mediated. Ah, memories….

Only to my room. I had no money and no where to run.

I ran away to Barnes and Noble bookstore. I go there when my parents and I had a fight. I walked for about one mile by foot.
