Anyone know the approximate yield from 80 tomato plants?

    You will have so many that your neighbors will go inside whne they see you coming trying to give them away. There is no way to determine the amount of tomatoes to be produced. There are too many factors involved. mr Bill

    If you're growing cherry tomatoes you'll need a truck and a retail vegitable outlet
    Seriously, several years ago I planted 5 and wound up giving away at least 12 gallons of them before it got too hot. I was picking one to two pints per day. There were dozens that the birds got or that fell off. The five plants grew to about 4 to 4-1/2 feet and spread out to cover 25 to 30 square feet (5' x 5')
    Oh, they were sooooooooooooo good.

    Saying each plant has 25 tomatoes, with no flaws, you could be up to your neck in a few weeks. Some of ours have 25 on them, but we've had sooo much rain, they're getting root rot:(
