  • You need to change all of the o-rings in the a/c system, and the receiver dryer. Then you NEED to go to a shop and have them pull a vacuum on the a/c system (they don't work very well with air in the system) then add oil and dye, then add your refrigerant (all added through the low side port.) Did you buy R-134a or did you get a hydrocarbon refrigerant that is compatible with R-134a? I think you bought the latter. And by the way NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER put sealer in your a/c system...EVER. If you do and it comes into my shop I will quote you to replace the entire a/c system because it is crap and plugs TXV's and o-tubes. and my a/c machine too.
