My Fiance will automatically order food for me without asking. This is driving me nuts! (he doesnt even order food I eat!) He thinks he knows what I like. How do i tell him without hurting his feelings?

Sit down, hold his hands and look into his eyes and then tell him straight out while reiterating that you love him. It's hard for someone to get mad when you're holding hands with them. It's important that you be able to be honest with one another.

right when u get there talk bout what you want to eat in the first place. or try to order before him and order for him. or tell him you wanna look at the menu and YOU PICK out something new you wanna try... see if he'll let you.

Yes, but does he order something that is good? When you say it is food that you don't eat, do you mean food that you have tried and don't like? Or food that you have never eaten before? I'm just saying that maybe you should try it. Or, another option is the next time you eat out, sit down and order for him without his input. Order something weird and exotic. If he protests, lovingly explain that you were only doing for him what he does for you. You know, the "I was only trying to help" defense. On a more serious note, this may be a precursor to some serious control issues down the road. Proceed with caution.
