I have a 1986 lincoln town car. it is gets 8.21 mpg & smokes at a stop. (exhaust smoke). i have to use the gas pedal when i stop or it will die. i've replaced intake manifold gasket, fuel pump&filter, rotor, distributor, plugs, tp & egr sensor, air ftr

    What about your vacuum lines? A pinhole leak in the right line will cause you to have those problems. Mr Bill
