but i'm 13 and my boyfriend is 21. should i be able to date him? hes 7-8 years older then me. is that wrong? but my mom thinks my boyfriend is 16. if i tell her his real age she probly won't let me hang out with him anymore =(

No offense, but what could a 21 year old man have in common with a 13 year old girl? Stick to guys your own age and try not to grow up too fast.

Yes, it's very wrong. That's the equivalent of you dating a 5 year old. I'm sure you know without me saying, but you would have to have serious mental issues to find someone that much younger then you attractive/datable.

7 - 8 years isn't much difference - WHEN YOU ARE BOTH ADULTS. He is an adult. You are not. You have a lot of growing to do yet, whereas he is already out of school and ready to start a career and building a life for himself. Wait until you're old enough to vote before you start going after older men.

you seem to already know the answer to this in saying that if she found out you wouldnt be able to see him anymroe. it's illegal for one. and two he is 21 and knows that you are too young to likely have a lasting relationship. for that reason i would say he could be using you. this is only from my expierence which has been similar. it's true your situation could be different but not very likely that its that different

This guy is a 21 year old MAN and you are a 13 year old GIRL. Hun, this guy is taking big advantage over you for some sick reason of his own. What business has a man with a young girl like yourself? So yes it is very wrong! You've got so much growing up to do yet, you'll meet boys your own age in the near future who your mom will approve of I'm sure.

I feel you i told my mom that my friend (who i used to like a lot.age 19.) is 16 and i was going to date him but after he went to jail my feelings changed he still likes me. but were like brother and sister.kinda.notreally. but yeah. he went to jail for having sex with someone around our age. probably not a good idea to date someone whos 21.

An unusually mature girl might (might)be able to have a good relationship with a 21 year old man, but a girl who lies to her mother is not mature enough to do it. In most states, a 21 year old man who is attracted to a 13 year old girl is considered a criminal.
