Help answer this question below.

MY 94 saturn wagon does not take off in the low gear. it starts in a high gear and takes a while to accelerate. It is an automatic and i tried to manually start out in 2nd but it just does not go in the lower gears. What can some of the problems be?

    First, check you fluid level as to the owners manual, then if needed, change out transmission fluid and filter. If it then does not change, then the next answer is expensive.

    It most likley needs to be ajusted.
    Take it to the dealer and have them change the fluid at the same time.
    There is linkage from the shifter to the transmision. That has most likley moved.
