How is Air Force One started? I know big planes don't have keys, but this is Air Force One. Shouldn't there be a key/code, something?

You're reading How would one improvisingly turn a carry-on luggage case into a parachute case? This case would be a parachute inside, though look like a carry-on luggage case outside. (This question is for all aviophobics out there.)

"far" more likely by staying in the aircraft? But we just keep hearing and reading of people dying in there anyway, far, far more often than of people surviving an air crash when staying in the craft.

Yeh, I would imagine you'd be better off staying in the plane. People do survive plane crashes - but they tend to make the news less than when people die, however it does happen. I saw on TV once something like if you fly for 8 hours a day you'd statistically die of old age before dying in an air crash.
