Hi, I'm not sure, but jumping out of a jet airliner is a bad idea. If you jumped from the front, the wing would possibly get you, or maybe even an engine. If you jumped from further back (say over the wing) then the tail or rudder might find you. If you managed to not get hit by anything, you would definately need an oxygen tank and mask as part of your setup - unless you waited till the aircraft was below roughly 10000 feet before jumping. I expect you would need to slow your airspeed before opening your shute, or else it would shred it or knock you out with the G force created by it opening. You would be far more likely to survive an aircraft going down by staying in the aircraft. Don't forget if you land in water, don't inflate the life jacket till you're out of the aircraft! Sorry!

I agree with dovey107 - the chance of your being able to use a parachute is so near zero that it doesn't count. If you want to increase safety, take a smokehood.
