I am bilingual.

My family is very much an international family, with grandparents fro Ireland, Spain, Germany and Italy, I so have so far learnt to speak English, Spanish, German, Italian and French (through school) although I can only write in English and basic French.

Bilingual I suppose. English is my first language, and I'm fairly fluent in Spanish as well. I also know American sign language. Does that count?

Multilingual coming from a very mixed up family, not all as correct or fluent as they could or should be but I can at least get by and hold a rudimntary conversation in most European languages, particularly latin based but German is a language I found remarkably similar to English except for grammar so was able to pick it up quite well. I would not say I am a polyglot but would like to be. Now I have to start trying to comprehend more of the eastern Bloc languages, just enough to get bye. Most of these languages are oral only. I have a good ear and pick up the spoken word but am a little too lazy to do too much writing. I can get through a newspaper though

Sorry to say that fluently I'm unilingual, though I did quite well in my French GCSE's (A grade), and I'm not too bad on anatomical Latin references check my profile for the reason, I'm not into learning ancient languages for no reason at all).
