Has anyone else tried the new Beaujolais Nouveau for 2006? I'm having some right now and think it's wonderfully smooth and tastefully dry. Anyone else think it's a good year?

Good year, but you better drink up quick, it doesn't have a long shelf life.

Went to a wine tasting last week at the home of a Sommelier, all bottles put out were this type of wine starting with 2006 going back to 2001. The 2006 was very dry and clean but to be perfectly honest, it probably cost a lot more money than I am willing to spend on a bottle of wine. The regions I like are Spain, Argentina, Chile and California. If you really like a good red wine then try Luzon Jumilla Riojia 2005, this has to be one of my favorites and you can get if for around $6.00 a bottle at some places.

No, our local store hasn't gotten it's allotment yet. It's only been out a day and a half for crying out loud.
