Unfortunately it is, but you can at least try to make up for it, I don't know how old are you, so if you are still on your teens or at most your 20's you can still catch some of it, but if you are over 30 look for other methods because calcium doesn't absorbe easily after 30, specially in women.

There are a lot of other ways to get calcium. I wouldn not worry if you eat a varied diet, including beans, nuts, grains, green veggies and fruit. But, I am not a nutritionist. A multi-vitamin couldn't hurt, right?

nope its not. try taking calcium supplements [sometimes u can get chocolate ones mm]

Calcium is important for strong bones. While you can never make up for the years you went without calcium (by the way, I did the same thing -- just hated milk) -- you can start some preventative maintenance now by drinking milk, eating cheese, taking calcium supplements, etc. Everything you do will help in the long run.
