You associate with racist douchebags, it's not a big deal. Other than the fact that you're a cheater.

I have no issue with him being black, but I'm a little shocked at your shameless admittance, as if it's perfectly fine to cheat on your s/o. You'll get no sympathy here I dare say.

You can expect a lot of negative feedback on this one. To be honest, you've earned it. Furthermore, the quality of your friends is disturbing...cheating is ok if it is done with a "white" guy?

I gave you back most of your points for the simple reason that you asked at the end "....why is it such a big deal?" That implies you are trying to figure out why having sex with someone from a different race is any bigger deal than with your own race. I like that!! The truth is that there IS no difference, just as you suspected all along! The problem isn't what your friends are saying; the problem is your choice of friends, period. I have never seen color. I have dated the everloving rainbow, despite my family's disparaging remarks and sneers. Had their attitude some basis on which to form an opinion, I would have had a closer look at what they were saying, but it didn't. Date who you want, Danielle. But don't cheat. It makes you look bad! I am almost positive that you are a better person than that, and definitely a hell of a lot stronger than your urges! You are obviously a strong-headed woman. Redirect a little of that strength into doing the right things.

Well you're kind of a hoe bag and your friends are kind of racist. But if what you're wanting to know is why they perceive it as worse to cheat with a black guy, it's because they see black people as more of like the animal version of human beings. To your racist friends, black people are larger and more primitive, and in their eyes they feel that black guys don't respect you or your race. So allowing one to bang you while you have a white boyfriend is like allowing yourself to be degraded, as well as your bf AND your race. Not saying I concur, just explaining their mentality.
