  • Your get rid of the tongue piercing, and the infection, by removing the ugly metal thing(s) from your tongue.
  • Don't take it out! It is way too early for it to be coming out. The yellowish stuff is called 'lymph'. It is a natural byproduct of healing. It is the dead cells being expelled from your body as the body heals itself. In response to the answer above, if it IS infected then taking it out is the worst thing you can do. It wont take the infection away, as the tongue heals it will in fact trap the infection inside which is worse. Sea salt soaks, cleaning (once or twice a day) will help. The bump may be caused by pressure of taking the bar out. The body is seeing an injury and sending extra cells there to help. I'm not sure how to get rid of it on a tongue to be perfectly honest but it's nothing horribly bad. I would suggest talking to a professional piercer and NOT one thal tells you to take it out... Best of luck!!!
