What do you mean by 'a lot during the day'? Because if that's all day every day...
I think the problem is you. Do you not want to spend time with her? Limit your time on the game. Make arrangements to see her. If my boyfriend preferred a game to me, I wouldn't be too happy.

I had a boyfriend that was always playing that game, it annoyed me when I would turn up to his to go out and he would tell me to wait 30 mins for him to finish. I can tell you we didn't last very long.
Your girl just wants to see you more, just cut down on how long you're playing for. Make some time for her and make her feel special.
Right now she probably thinks you're more into the game then you are into her. That's how I felt.

well i had the same prob with my GF now my wife but what i told her is ill make a deal if she plays and gets to max lvl and then she can still tell me she does not like the game and does not want to play the i will cut my play time in half. so she did do it and she found that she likes it and she understands more about what im doing like i can pause the game when ever she wants it does not work like that so now she plays with me and she does not play as much as me but will find things to do on her own. and we make sure we spend atleast 1hr every night together just kicking back watching TV together and we are very happy with each other now and no fighting hope something like that will work for you she will prob find the game to be fun thats why there like 16 mil. players or something like that and its not just men.
P.S. we used to fight all the time about it before she lvled her own toon we have even broken up before over it but sence she got to 80 she has loved it and for valentines day she bought me a brand new iMac just to play the game with... I love my wife :)

im a gamer too, hence the vidiot. my wife doesnt see the attraction and it causes all sorts of issues that are pointless, I have to stay up late or limit my game time, its a trade but it works. and everyone else is happy and thats what were talking about here, the everybody else factor.

one thing you should remember is that women crave attention and when your playing wow shes not getting said attention.
So here is what you do
-dont play everyday (or at least keep it to a few hours everyday)
-bring her on a date (include flowers)
-try to get her involved with the game (who knows she might enjoy it and she wont bitch about it)
-get some alone time

My boyfriend is addicted to it too. I would come home and hes playing it, I wake up to go to work and hes still awake playing. One day while he wasn't there I started playing to see what the fuss was about. I got addicted :( tell her to give it a try and maybe you'll have a game partner. Its just another thing you can do together while getting your "fix" haha

My boyfriend does the same thing, he'll play from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. He doesn't want to do anything except play world of warcraft with a bunch of people. I used to play with him so we could do something together, but he started playing more with random players, guildies, etc. He never wants to do anything together. I don't care to watch TV much, but he won't even do that to spend a little bit of time with me. What I do while he plays all day, go for a walk and he doesn't want to go with me because he says he walks enough at work. If we do go some where he is crabby cause he wants to get back to world of warcraft. He doesn't clean up after himself or the house. He'll eat infront of the computer. I am fed up with it and can't take it anymore. He cares more about world of warcraft than me. I don't ask for much and I am not going to ask anymore. I asked him what it would take for me to get him to stop playing so much, his answer was "If you don't like it than leave!" He has yet to see it coming if that's the way he really feels. Not to mention he is 33 years old!
my boyfriend is using marijuana. sometimes he acts like he likes me sometimes he acts like he doesn't. may it be one of the effects?
