Do guys tend to prefer "girlie girls" or "tomboys"? This is just general interest from a conversation we were having at uni the other day.

I have yet to find a guy who doesn't like a beautiful Tomboy. Girlie girls drive me crazy.

I prefer tomboys that have a bit of feminine in them. I mean, they still wear dresses and skirts, they have at least shoulder length hair, and they still seem more girlish to boys.

depends on location southerners tend to like the tomboys cuz they share the same interests like huntin and fixin things while northerns prefer girlie girls cuz most of them are usually rich.

I hate tomeboys. Personally, i'd prefer a girl i could lay back with, i would wanna be with a girl that FEELS like a girl. If i wanted to be with a tomboy, well im not gonna go there for obvious reasons. But girly girls are cute, they make u feel good, they're snuggly & complete the purpose of being a girl. Tomboys are dike-ish lol.

Personally, if a lady doesn't know how to or can't wear a baseball cap, she ain't for me. I like a Tomboy type. They tend to be spontaneous and up for a challenge as a rule. They're not afraid of getting their hair wet or fingers a little dirty and can bait a hook. There's also the aspect of their being more of an activity partner.

There are smart, feminine girls who enjoy boating, skiing and play a good game of tennis everywhere. Being athletic does not necessarily mean tomboy. Thank goodness for variety. Everyone needs to feel accepted for something. I am happy that no two people are alike!

i may only be 14 (about to be 15) but i like girls that have a little of each in them. they like to dress up go out be cute but i also like a girl that enjoys hanging out and going boating or forewheeling. i dont like a whole tomboy or a whole girlie girl.

Well in my experience most guys dont like girly girls nor do they like tomboys...They want someone normal, who doesnt wear lots of makeup, someone who they can connect with, and someone not high maintenence, most guys enjoy a girl who likes doing something they enjoy (i.e. video games, genre of music, movies, food, hobbies) Im a girl and i have learned LOTS from having more guy friend then girl friends. Im more of a tomboy, someone who can have a farting or burping contest and win, someone who enjoys being a couch potato, and pigging out, and playing video games, moshing, acting stupid, etc...I guess it depends on the guy really...

I would have to say i am partial to the tomboy type. I like a woman who is independent,who can take care of herself, who is not afraid to get her hands dirty, will speak her mind and not be intimidated by others. BUT! AND THIS IS A MUST!When we are behind closed doors or in social situations that require her to be a woman,she must be able to show that she is very much a woman.She has to be able to let her femininity and sexuality come out.If i am losing you here.Let me try to say it in somewhat simplfied way. She most of the time will wear jeans but when necessary or the mood dictates, she needs to be able to wear a evening dress,or when behind closed doors,some sexy lingerie'.Plus she needs to be able to let me be a man and treat her like the lady that underneath the tough exterior she is.

I love a girly girl. So i could make fun of her when were late to an event cause she took an hour to get ready. Or always asking questions when she watches the game with me. I dont prefer townboys. I like the femenine apeall about a girly girl. That just my prefference.

Guys want whichever is available and interested. Seriously, there's no "type" of woman that can't have a line of guys following her around drooling over her. Ask a guy if he likes asians or blondes or blacks or latinas: yes, yes, yes, yes. Petite girls or tall girls: yes and yes. Tomboys? Yes, b/c they're effing wild in the sack and they know how to drink beer and fish. Girlie girls? Hell yes: they're pretty and needy and they giggle at our dumb jokes. Fat girls with hairy moles on their faces? Well, seems like they always get a man, too--after all, chubby-chasing men are a dime a dozen.

personally i prefer them to be more into the same stuff as me so i would say more tomboy... but hot tomboy :P
