Am I the only one who believes alcohol is more of a gateway drug than weed? Not in the experimental sense, but when you're drunk you're more willing to take drugs than when you're high, I think.

frankly marijuana has no gateway properties. if anything Alcohol gatewayed me into using pot.

i smoked weed before i drank and i dont drink often, and i agree with you people are more willing to do anything when they are drunk, i wouldnt have prolly tried exstacy if i were sober or any of the other drugs.

i think being very young and impressionable is the gateway, because i didn't start smoking and drinking until i was like ... 20 and that was purely by choice. drinking didnt lead me to anything. Also, going further - i think starting at an earlier age is half the reason why so many get so addicted. it may be that i have a very non-addictive personality, but i think there's something there
