No. I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere while strong storms are battering the area. No way.

Sure, why not? Some the best cuddling there is is during a storm:-)
-
no...I'd rather play it safe...

Here in NY, a bunch of people got electrocuted 2 years ago..Not to much cahance of rain, but these thunderstorms pop up a lot in the summer. The lightening hit the tree, and the tent was 20 feet away on top of the trees roots. Scary isn't it..I always worry when my kids camp.

No. WHy bother? Just wait for the next clear day when everybody can cut loose from work :)

Depends in what state and what kind of terrain and the elevation. I've been hiking in that kind of weather and had a grand time:-) I've also been downstream of that kind of weather and gotten flooded out at the base camp while not having a drop of rain.

Not a camper. Too much dirt, insects and non-running water. im city through and through

I wouldn't go camping if there was a 100% chance of sunny weather and no bugs. I'm not an outdoors person lol...but come on, do you really want to risk being in the middle of nowhere in a tent with such a high chance of "strong storms?" I suppose it's a matter of how bad you want to get out there!
