u might need to check your timing chain and see if it stretched or the gear slips any the woodruff key holds the gear in place it may have failed

ok i had the same problem. i had a check engine light come on and display the code p0344 which is a camshaft position senor intermittent. i replaced the code with an aftermarket camshaft position sensor you can get at any autoparts store. when i replaced it the motor turned over but would not start. i replaced it with the old one to get thru the day. i had a hard time starting it and it would turn off everonce in a while while idleing. i then replaced it with another camshaft position sensor from mopar and it works fine now and the check engine lights is off. hope that helps some

Mine did the same thing, code for cam sensor, then plugs and wires. Also I had a ticking or knocking type noise. Dealer opened engin and found the timming chain stretched.
