  • Go to musicians friend (website www.musiciansfriend.com), or check out guitar center they usually have good sales and all around good prices. Happy hunting!
  • Keep in mind that arguably, Gibson's are the most overpriced guitars on the market. Their manufacturing standards have gone into the toilet over the last decade but their prices have not. In my opinion and in the opinion of my fellow musicians, (adults who play professionally) epiphone's are constructed every bit as well as a gibson. You get the look of and Les Paul, you get the sound of the p-90's, you just don't get Gibson on the headstock. (For more bang for your buck, go with US Fenders)
  • www.ebay.com might be a place for you. Just read description very carefully, and anything coming out of China, I believe, is most likely not a real Gibson.
  • I have a China Gibson and it is an excellent Guitar better than a epiphone. ebay is the answer
  • Try a pawn shop in a big city.

  • Check e-bay
  • You can't find a cheap american made gibson unless its nearly wrecked or someone died, and the person selling it doesnt know what its worth.even an old gibson holds its value.A great buy if you can find one. My suggestion is go on e-bay and look for a gibson firebrand les paul. these guitars made in the early 80s were soild mahogany and are soild as a rock and are usually a little bit cheaper because they lack the luster of the glossy finish and pinstippining PS> They don't call me Kaptain Krunch for nothing metal up your ass dude
  • I recommend you check out magazines. I read Guitarist and it has advise, which I think is good, plus a load of adverts at the back. I have seen Les Pauls for £999 which is cheap but much less than that could be a snide. Ebay is ok but there is a higher chance of being burned plus the prices can be sill for some Pauls as well. Save your bread and then make your move. You won't regret it; a Les Paul can last a lifetime and beyond. I bought a new one with Burstbucker pickups; they were fitted 2002+ and I think they sound better than the previous ones. I think it's better to buy a cheaper Gibson than a poor copy. The Melody Maker is a good first Gibson. There's nothing like a Gibson. They fell behind Fender in the 80s but for those who like Gibson guitars, they have their act together again.
  • You could try Ebay or http://musicmonsterlive.com Search around and I'm sure you'll find what your looking for.
  • there is one in a shop in canada called xs cargo except it is not a real les paul.
  • in xs cargo in canada (talent les paul) it is not a real les paul but this one is (link) http://www.zzounds.com/item--EPILPSPIIPPEB
  • Try The Sound Shop in Drogheda, Ireland. One of the coolest places for guitars! Pauline http://www.tectalktraining.com
  • your local pawn shop
  • Gibson now has factories in China that turn out superb guitars. The quality, versus the price, is an excellent value. Instead of the $3299 or $3699 that some US Made LPs cost, I was able to get the look, tone, and feel that I wanted for about $800 each. They are really great guitars and provide an affordable alternative to those of us who desire those great Les Paul guitars but don't have the extra money to buy the US made. TIP: DO NOT confuse the Chinese-made Gibson products with any of the cheap knock-offs. They ARE NOT THE SAME. DO NOT but the knock-offs. They do not have Gibson quality and, are probably illegal anyway.
  • I think that is an oximoron. You know a double negative. Cheap and Gibson don't go together. Buy an Epiphone, their quality is great and they carry th Gibson name.
