I have noticed they increased. There was a time that hard liquor/whiskey etc was not allowed to be advertised, now anything goes. It's odd that they show lots of people drinking, dirty dancing and then say "drink responsibly"..

yea especially in cartoons...the cartoons are not drinking alcohol but there is alot of hinting that the drink posed as alcohol...

Stayed the same. In the UK the soaps have always had the local pub as the focal point, and other shows neither show more nor less drinking than in the past.
