Yes our big TV is in the bedroom. We eat breakfast in bed together each morning and watch something to set our day. And in the evening we watch some favorite shows before going to bed. It's also where we watch DVDs. it's a very pleasant room in many ways so we spend a lot of time there.

Yep. I watch it in the morning, sometimes, before I get up. It helps me remember where the hell I am and what is going on. Then, I get up and get my coffee.

I don't watch TV on a daily basis. My equipment (used for selected videos) is kept without reception. I think TV is a terrible drug, one that keeps people from living a fuller life. I like to read, to write, to chat or email with friends, to garden, to challenge my kids on various things... I have so many projects in my mind that life won't be long enough to do them all.
Have you read Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World"?
There, they talk about "soma", the wonder drug to keep everybody happy and 'controlled' - I call it TV.

Yes I do. But usually have the youtube playing music. I don't have cable so if it is on it is playing a movie. Sometimes I do that for noise. So I don't have to sit and listen to the ticking of the clock in here! +5

I do and it is on around 8am and is usually not turned off until about 11pm. I am home alone the majority of the time when school is in session. My bedroom is where the computer is, so I stay in the bedroom. The living room tv is very rarely used.

Yep, I have a tv mounted on the wall and I LISTEN to it daily. When it's time to do housework, I put a movie in the family room DVD player and turn on all 3 TVs so I can listen to the movie from all over the house. We even have speakers outside so I can listen there as well :)
